Chains often hold serious weight — and serious cash. A 60 g 14K Cuban link, a 22K Indian rope chain, a heavy figaro: these are some of the highest-payout single items that walk into our Dallas store. We test the karat, weigh it on a calibrated scale, and pay the live-spot value on the spot.

Sellers from across Dallas — South Dallas, Oak Cliff, Pleasant Grove, Lakewood — and from Plano, Garland, Mesquite, and Irving regularly walk in with chains they no longer wear or chains inherited from a parent. Heavy chains are our most common single-item transaction.
Every common chain style is bought: Cuban link (Miami Cuban included), rope, figaro, herringbone, box, byzantine, snake, wheat, franco, mariner, anchor, curb, singapore, and bead/ball chains. We buy every karat — 10K, 14K, 18K, 21K, 22K, 24K — plus European-stamped chains (375, 585, 750, 916, 999) and Indian/Middle Eastern 22K and 23K work. Two-tone chains are tested in multiple spots to confirm purity throughout. Hollow chains are bought (priced by their actual weight, since they're lighter than solid for the same look). Plated, gold-filled, and 'GP' chains are identified and paid separately or, if appropriate, declined with an explanation.
Same simple math as any gold purchase: gram weight × karat purity factor × today's spot × our payout percentage. We test the chain in two or three spots (especially on two-tone or unusually heavy pieces) using both an electronic tester and a backup acid test. Any non-gold parts (lobster clasps from kits, magnetic ends) are deducted by weight only. Hollow chains are paid by their actual weight — the lower weight is built into how they're made, not a deduction we apply.
We see Cuban links, ropes, and franco chains every day — pricing is fast and accurate.
Hollow chains are paid honestly for what they weigh; we don't penalize the style.
Plated chains with gold ends are caught early — protecting you from accepting a wrong-karat quote elsewhere later.
You walk in with a chain, you walk out with money. No 'we'll call you next week.'
Four straightforward steps — start to finish, usually under twenty minutes.
No need to fix the clasp or untangle. We'll handle it.
Especially important for two-tone or unusually heavy pieces.
Hollow weight or solid weight, the scale tells the truth either way.
